From Universal Pre-K to Graduate School, a good education is the best foundation for making progress as a country. For education to be good, it must have the best teachers, genuine parent participation, be inclusive and based on recorded history and current facts. CRT is not a subject being taught in any of our secondary education curriculum. It is being used as scapegoat to eliminate black history. History is doomed to repeat itself if we do not learn from each other the good, bad and the ugly. It is a disservice to our great democracy if we allow forces from within to hamper our children’s educational growth due to the shenanigans of the uneducated. We need to add more diversity to our curriculum, not remove it. I will be a vote to give every child a great and inclusive public-school education, make public college and technical school tuition free, cancel student loan debt for 95% of Americans with student loans and offer free universal childcare.
