Our seniors are such an important part of our community. Protecting them in every possible way is important. Everyone should have the chance to retire with the dignity and support they need. As your Congresswoman, I will be a vote to strengthen and expand traditional Medicare to include vision, dental, prescription drugs and home health care, so if seniors want to, they can stay in the home they love with the assistance of well-trained home healthcare providers. I will vote to continue to lower prescription drug costs by allowing Medicare and Medicaid to negotiate lower prices on behalf of our seniors and on behalf of us all. There is also a need in this district to build more affordable housing for low-income seniors and I support that.

Social Security must never be privatized. I will join the fight with my voice and my vote to protect and expand those benefits.
