Clean, safe, and affordable housing is a human right. It is my passion to see families who never thought it was possible to have a home that they can be proud of. Homeownership helps families build wealth and contribute to good physical and mental health. We must make this dream a reality for more families in this country. There is a huge gap between those who can own a home and those who rent. We can close this gap by building more homes that working people can afford. In rural districts like mine, there are towns that have housing deserts, where there is a need but little to no investment. I will work closely with the USDA to be a voice and a vote to advocate for more housing, clean drinking water and technical development in rural America.
